I am visiting from Phoenix and decided to stop by with my father when we were passing through Anaconda.  When we came in the restaurant was serving a large table with at least 25 people but they were able to get us right in and seated anyway. The restaurant is pretty too look at in blues, brick and wood with a big window looking out on the Fairmont Hot Springs outdoor pool. I think the water theme is particularly nicely represented in the high backed chairs which have a waterfall feel to them.

The server was very friendly and the complimentary parmesan bread was warm and tasty. There was a bit of a wait for our food, which was understandable given the group ahead of us but unfortunately there were some errors when it was brought out. I was brought the wrong fish dish and my father's steak came out very well done rather than medium rare. The server took our food back and promptly brought back correct orders, though, when we pointed this out, and offered to compensate with a complimentary dessert.

I had the trout Almandine special with grilled asparagus and citrus buerre blanc sauce. The breading was a little heavy but had a great texture and was flavorful. I initially thought the asparagus was overdone but it turned out crisp and lovely. The sauce was absolutely delightful!

Dad got the filet mignon and enjoyed it, though says it wasn't anything too special, particularly for the price. We took advantage of the offered dessert and split a chocolate mousse cake. It was very rich. The cake was a bit dry and honestly I felt like it was sort of plain and haphazardly presented compared to the rest of the meal.

I would certainly eat here again though I had to lower the score due to the problems getting our orders correct.  Definitely opt for the fish over the steak, though.

$38 Steak medium rare no pink.  For that price it should be cooked correctly and should be no need to ask if I need steak sauce.  Overpriced.  I would not recommend.

Inedible. period. Completely underwhelmed by the so called fine dining experience. Halibut was overlooked and smothered in cheese??  Do yourself a favor and go to town. These guys need a reality check.
